I handled every aspect of the Cheyeb documentary, from research and planning to filming and editing. The film tells the story of a seasonal worker who, after years of being laid off, found stability as a farmer with Wallah We Can. Through his dedication and hard work, he eventually rose to lead the farm. His journey mirrors the 1,700-year-old legend of The Harvester of Makthar, a tale passed down through generations in his hometown.

To capture the authenticity of his story, I spent several days living and working alongside him, waking up before dawn to document his daily routine and understand the rhythm of his life. I conducted in-depth interviews, filmed in challenging weather conditions, and made sure every shot reflected the emotion and resilience behind his journey. In post-production, I carefully structured the narrative to intertwine his personal evolution with the historical legend, using visual metaphors and a reflective tone to highlight the timeless values of perseverance and integrity. The result is a deeply human portrait that honors both the individual and the heritage he represents.
